IGTV now supports landscape videos 📹
In a move that marks a departure from IGTV’s original vertical-only strategy, the video streaming platform this week announced plans to add the ability to upload horizontal videos.
“IGTV should be the home of great content, no matter how it’s shot. By allowing landscape, we’re removing barriers to production that we heard about from creators to help creativity flourish on IGTV.”

The news comes amid a series of changes that are aiming to increase take-up of the platform, which hasn’t been as fast as IGTV had hoped.
